How deep do you grind?
Stumps are ground 6″-12″ below grade, unless there is a restriction. Concrete, fences, utilities, etc may limit our depths.
Will the tree grow back?
The tree will not grow back.
When can you start?
Very seasonal and weather dependent but typically within 2 weeks. We also offer emergency stump grinding.
Will you locate utilities?
Stump Guys will call for utilities to be marked before each grind. We always note to only mark near the stump and never on any concrete/driveway or landscaping.
Can you provide an estimate over the phone?
We prefer to walk the site or to have the client send us photos. There are a lot of variables that go into an estimate that require some level of eyes on the project.
